Warman AF(R) vertical froth pump


1. What is a froth pump? 

The AF froth pumps has been designed to increase the pumpability of frothy slurry. The pump operation is similar to hydrocyclone seperation. 

The basic principle of the froth pump operation is to de-aerate or partially de-aerate the froth before it enters the pumping. Its handling capacity of the pump is muchhigher than that of other types of slurry pump without shaft seal and sealing water. 

2. What advantage of AF slurry pump?

The advantages of the pump are of excellent performance, easy assebly & disassembly, high and etc.

The AF series froth pumps is a efficiency pump are suitable for handing solids-liquid mixture, special for delivering frothy pulp generated in flotation machines in metalliferous and coal flotation circuits.

The AF froth pump is ideal for all applications involving handling of air entrained slurries, such as flotation froth in base metal concentrators, phosphate and apatite washing plants and calcium carbonate upgrading plants.

The pump can also be used as a mixing and distribution unit, where dry powder has to be mixed (and wetted) with water. It can also be used with cement in ready mixed concrete and for grouting and injection mixing.

3. What structure of the AF froth pump

The construction of pump head is double casings slurry pump. All wet-parts can be supplied in Ni-hard, high chrome alloy iron and pressure-moulded natural or synthetic rubber.

The driver end can be exchanged with that of type--SP(R) pumps. The hopper-tank is fabricated with steel plate. Its inner wall of the tank can be covered with liner according to different medium pumped.

The discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degrees by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.

1. Submersible slurry pump

ZJQ submersible centrifugal slurry pumps are mainly used to pump high-hardness, strong-corrosion and high-concentration liquids that contain suspended solid particles, such as finished ores, 
refuse ores, ashes, cinders, cements, mud, mineral stones and etc.
2. Application Condition
1— Power: 50/60HZ, 380V/460V/660V, 3-Phase.
2— Medium Temperature: Max. 40°C and without explosion gas.
3— Slurry Concentration By weight up to 60%.
4— Max submersible depth: <20m

3. Application and Feature 

ZJQ submersible Slurry motor pump is a kind of hydraulic mechanism which motor connects directly with pump. It is used for delivering liquid contained sand, coal cinder solid etc.. The pump can be mainly employed in clearing the mud in lake, river, sea and widening channel etc. it also can be applied to clear out sewage pool; in building site, steel works and power station etc. the pump adopts excellent material, advanced structure, and it is with wide flowing passage & strong delivery ability. The hydraulic parts are wear-resistant. The pump is yet completed with control unit. The pump set consists of main impeller and vice impeller two parts. The main impeller is used for absorbing and delivering solid-liquid mixture, the vice impeller is used for spraying or stirring solid-liquid mixture to help the impeller delivering.
